A unique space in the city overlooking the port of Barcelona

Freshly prepared rice, seafood and fish from the market.

1881 per SAGARDI is the restaurant of the Museum of the History of Catalonia, a unique space in the city overlooking the port of Barcelona and dedicated entirely to Mediterranean cuisine, from the sea to the land. The experience extends to Terrassa de les Indianes, a contemporary cocktail bar overlooking the port of Barcelona.

Gastronomy

Freshly prepared rice dishes, seafood and fish from the Barceloneta fish market, and grilled meats are their main gastronomic offerings. The cuisine of the 1881 per SAGARDI restaurant celebrates local products and the great classics of Mediterranean and Catalan cuisine.

History

In 1881 the construction project of the old General Trade Warehouses began, following the style that the English established in all the ports of the world. From the port of Liverpool to Puerto Madero in Buenos Aires, to this jewel, history and culture have united towns and people. Today, at the top of the Museum that explains the History of Catalonia, Sagardi Group makes this unique space a place of gastronomy, sensitivity and emotion. Gastronomy also explains who we are…
