1881-color

1881 per SAGARDI is the restaurant of the Museum of the History of Catalonia, a unique space in the city overlooking the port of Barcelona and dedicated entirely to Mediterranean cuisine, from the sea to the land. The experience extends to the Terrassa de les Indianes, a contemporary cocktail bar with views of the port of Barcelona.

Gastronomy

Rice dishes prepared on the spot, seafood and fish from the Barceloneta market, and grilled meats are its main gastronomic offerings. The cuisine of the 1881 per SAGARDI restaurant highlights local products and the great classics of Mediterranean and Catalan cuisine.

From the port of Liverpool to Puerto Madero in Buenos Aires, to this gem, history and culture have united peoples and individuals. Today, atop the Museum that explains the History of Catalonia, Sagardi Group transforms this unique space into a place of gastronomy, sensitivity, and emotion. Our gastronomy also tells who we are...

The large terrace of 1881 per SAGARDI offers exceptional views of the Barcelona skyline, a unique place in the city where you can enjoy a creative and comprehensive menu of cocktails and appetizers while taking in the views and the music from our DJs. Our particular homage to Catalan printed fabrics, the Indianes, which centralized Catalan trade in the late 19th century.
